What is GalleyMetric?
A browser-based workspace for turning spreadsheet data into charts and figures.
Who can use it?
Anyone with spreadsheet data, including students, educators, analysts, and researchers.
Which files can I import?
The current import screen lists UTF-8 CSV and XLSX.
Do I need an account to start?
You can load the sample and enter the chart workspace without signing in. Account or plan requirements may apply to particular services.
Which chart types are available?
The current chart picker shows bar, box, dot, violin, line, scatter, and histogram.
Can I run statistics?
The workspace includes statistical analysis controls. Check the chosen method and independently confirm important results before publication.
Can I export a figure?
Yes. The current workspace has a Download Center. Available formats and settings are shown there for your plan.
Does my research data leave my device?
The privacy policy says imported research content is processed in the browser. Account, billing, support, infrastructure, and optional anonymous usage metadata are handled separately.
Does it work on a phone?
The interface adapts to smaller screens, though editing a detailed figure is easier with more space.
Which languages are available?
The public application and this site offer English, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, and Korean.
